AAC Capital launches PRI sustainability report 2015-2016

AAC has underwritten the PRI principles of Responsible Investment since it became a signatory in 2013. This implies that AAC incorporates Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into its investment decisions, to better manage risk and generate sustainable, long-term returns. The PRI is the world's leading advocate of responsible investment and works to understand the investment implications of ESG factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in integrating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions. Some highlights from the report and our ESG policy:

• Our approach moves beyond compliance by addressing ESG items which could lead to improvements in operational excellence or growth prospects of a business. It is intended to offer further opportunities to create value.
• The goal of AAC's ESG policy is to gain an understanding of the ESG exposure and opportunities in our portfolio and support our management teams in improving the ESG performance of their companies.
• ESG is integrated into our investment processes through early screening on ESG issues during lead analyses, due diligence processes and through addressing key considerations in our investment proposals.
