Bert-Jan joined AAC in 1997 having previously worked at ABN AMRO Rothschild and ABN AMRO equity capital markets in origination and execution of IPO's and public company deals, and with ABN AMRO equity research in analysing public market companies. Bert-Jan has been involved in the buyouts of Desotec, Sdu, Plasticon and IMCD.
Bert-Jan holds a BSc in Business Economics from the HES in Amsterdam and a CEFA from VBA in Amsterdam.
Coen joined AAC in 2017 as Investment Director, having worked 6 years at Heineken Global Business Development (Corporate M&A) and 4 years in private equity at HAL Investments.
Coen holds a MSc Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam.
After successfully completing an internship at AAC, Floris started at AAC in January 2017.
Floris holds an MSc in Offshore & Dredging Engineering and a BSc in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis & Management from the Delft University of Technology.
Frank joined AAC in 2000. Prior to joining Frank held various positions within ABN AMRO Commercial Banking. Frank has been involved in the investments in Yarrah, Corilus, Salad Signature, Baarsma Wine Group, Lucas Bols, CleanLeaseFortex and TMI.
Frank holds an MA in Law from the University of Nijmegen.
Hans joined AAC and established AAC’s Antwerp office in 2013. Hans focusses on the Belgium market and has been involved in the buyout of Corilus. Prior to joining, Hans was Corporate Finance Partner at Deloitte where he was responsible for the Advisory team in Belgium. Before Deloitte, Hans held various positions in corporate and wholesale banking (ao at ABN AMRO).
Hans holds a MSc in Business Engineering from the University of Leuven.
James joined AAC in 2017 having previously worked at the family office De Hoge Dennen Capital and PE firm Holland Venture.
James holds a MSc in Finance and Investment from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a MSc in Business Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Karin joined AAC in 2004 and is key to our smooth everyday operations. She also provides administrative support to the investment team. Karin's previous experience includes an office manager position at Ogilvy & Mather, as well as a sales support export at Nestlé.
Malu joined AAC in 2016. Previously, Malu worked at KPMG Corporate Finance, Wilshire Associates Private Markets and invested in sustainable start-ups at PYMWYMIC.
Malu holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Maastricht and an MCom in Finance at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Marc has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, private equity and banking. Marc joined AAC in 2002 and has been involved in all major transactions in the Benelux portfolio. He started his career at ABN AMRO and held several international positions in corporate finance and equity capital markets.
Marc holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
Maurice joined AAC in 2002 and has been responsible for investments in Salad Signature, Orangefield, IMCD and Sdu. Maurice currently is a non-executive director on the board of Yarrah. Maurice started his career at AHOLD, before joining ABN AMRO Investment Banking, and 3i.
Maurice holds an MSc in Econometrics/Operations Research (with honours) from the University of Tilburg, participated in the MBA program of Chicago University and is a registered Financial Analyst (EFFAS).
After successfully completing an internship at AAC, Mike started at AAC in October 2017. Previously, Mike gained experience through an internship at Lazard.
Mike holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, both cum laude. During his studies, Mike also took part in an exchange program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Olaf joined AAC in 2002 and has been involved in the buyouts of Verasol, Hobré Instruments, CARe, Sdu, Roompot and Inalfa Roof Systems. Prior to joining, Olaf worked for 6 years with Arthur D. Little in both corporate finance and strategy consulting, and for 4 years with Accenture in operations management.
Olaf holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering (honours) from the University of Delft and an MBA from INSEAD.
Onne joined AAC in 2015 and has been involved in the buy-out of Yarrah. Prior to that, he worked for three years as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit-Suisse in London.
Onne holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Paul joined AAC in 2002. Prior to joining AAC, Paul held various positions within ABN AMRO Wholesale Banking. Paul has been involved in the AAC buyouts of Hobré Instruments, Lubbers Transport Group, Baarsma Wine Group, Vetus, Lucas Bols, Fabory, CleanLeaseFortex, Drie Mollen Group, Radio Holland and RTD.
He holds an MA in Law from the University of Leiden.
Paul joined AAC in 2000 after having started his career as international trainee at ABN AMRO, where he held various positions in corporate & wholesale banking and leveraged finance. Paul’s most recent buyouts are Verasol, Corilus, Lubbers and Desotec whilst he was also involved in the buy-outs of TMI, Inalfa, Roompot, Vetus and CARe.
Paul has a MSc Economics from the Free University Amsterdam.
Sander joined AAC in 2011 and has been involved in the buyouts of Yarrah, Corilus, Orangefield Group and Baarsma. Prior to joining the investment team, Sander was responsible for fund reporting at AAC.
Sander holds an MSc in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam and is a CFA charterholder.
After successfully completing an internship at AAC, Thijs joined in January 2017 and has been involved in the buyout of Verasol.
Thijs holds a MSc in Financial Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BSc in Business Economics from Tilburg University.
